At Oral Surgery & Implant Centers, we offer patients a friendly and tranquil experience in a truly state of the art facility. It is our goal to treat each of our patients with the highest caliber of care and respect. We believe that quality counts and that details matter.
Your initial appointment at Oral Surgery & Implant Centers will usually consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. A complex medical history or treatment plan may require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.
At the time of your consultation, please assist us by providing the following information:
Your surgical referral slip and any x-rays if applicable.
A list of medications you are presently taking.
If you have medical or dental insurance you will be using, please bring the necessary insurance cards or information. You can download and complete some of your paperwork for us here, which will save you time and allow us to serve you more quickly.
It is required that all patients under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for all Oral Surgery & Implant Center appointments.
A Note About X-Rays:
If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, you may request that they be forwarded to our office. If there is not sufficient time for your dentist or physician’s office to do so, please pick them up and bring them to our office directly. If additional x-rays are needed, we can quickly and easily take them for you at any of our Oral Surgery & Implant Center locations.
A preoperative consultation is mandatory for patients who will be undergoing IV anesthesia for their surgery procedure. You can find complete pre and post-operative instructions here.
Please alert our office prior to surgery if you have any medical conditions that may be of concern (i.e., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any kind of medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).
